Reflecting back on his search for the Improvisational Cabaret Theater of his dreams, David Shepherd discusses the founding of Compass, America's first Improvisational Theater and the irony that turned this group of "Cultural Bandits" into Show Biz successes. Told in two parts, David Shepherd, Improv’s Forgotten Prophet, is a 30 minute bio of his life and work and The Birth of Improv, is an extended, in depth conversation with David about his lifelong quest for a theater that would allow the audience “to get in on the action.”
